Protests continue after the “million people’s Congress March” in Washington, D.C

According to U.S. media reported on November 16, after the “million people’s Congress demonstration” held in Washington on Saturday (14), a large number of trump supporters gathered near Washington again on Sunday (15) to protest the election results. The protestors, wearing hats with “make America great again” and holding banners in their hands, chanted slogans to stop stealing votes.

Soon afterwards, the protestors clashed with some of the anti protestors on the scene, which eventually turned into violence. Two police officers were injured in fighting the violence and several guns were found. At present, the participants in the fighting have been accused of holding guns and other charges.

At the same time, a dozen protestors in New York, holding Trump’s banner and holding slogans of “expose corruption” and “the dead do not vote”, gathered at the gates of the Clinton family, shouting “lock her up.”

Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea Clinton, said through social media that she hoped the trump supporters who protested and yelled at her parents’ house would wear masks before protesting. Local police said the March ended at about 18:45 on Sunday and no one has been arrested.
